About Viv Serrano
Viv Serranois a former recipient of a TCP-funded AWE Scholarship and returns to us excited about showing others that they can be strong and accomplish goals beyond their imaginations, just like she has. Growing up in LA, Viv didn’t have the chance to enjoy the outdoors much. In a leap of faith in 2019, she moved to Salida, Colorado and joined a trail work crew for 6 months where she experienced incredible community and self-discovery. Afterwards, she was determined to share the magic that she experienced and returned to LA to try to rebuild a kind of community of like-minded people who can feel comfortable in the outdoors.

Why Get Out and Give Back?
“I do this because I want others to see they can be strong and do it too. I have come to learn that the most valuable of adventures are those that you are capable of influencing others to get outside and learn from themselves. I’d love to be apart of that journey for others.”
