As a quieter person, I’ve often fallen victim to the false notion that I can’t have a huge influence or impact. However, over the past year, I’ve learned how important it is to leverage your own community – no matter how big or small you think your influence might be.”
Yosemite’s Calling
“I’ve always wanted to backpack in Yosemite. When I was researching routes, I knew I wanted to experience a different area of the park as I had only visited Yosemite Valley in the past. I was excited when my permits came through to hike from Tuolumne Meadows via Vogelsang. The route includes stretches on many different iconic trails and feels like a unique way to experience the High Sierra!”
Why Get Out and Give Back?
“I really resonate with the mission of The Cairn Project. I was fortunate to have access to the outdoors as a child and have benefited immensely. I love that The Cairn Project is working to elevate women and young girls in outdoor adventure sports and raise awareness to the lack of access and diversity that continues to exist today.”
