Mount Falcon Trail

  • Morrison, CO 
  • Skill Level: Moderate 
  • Distance: 7.6 miles round trip 

Located near Denver, Mount Falcon offers a rewarding hike with sweeping views of the Colorado Front Range. The trail winds through meadows, shady forests, and historic ruins, leading to the summit with panoramic vistas. Take in the stunning landscapes and savor the sense of accomplishment as you hike this scenic trail.

The Woods Walk & The Lower Loop

  • Crested Butte, CO 
  • Skill Level: Easy 
  • Distance: 1.5 miles (Woods Walk) and 4.8 miles (Lower Loop) 

Explore the charming town of Crested Butte with two interconnected trails. The Woods Walk is a leisurely stroll through aspen groves, offering a peaceful escape with glimpses of wildflowers and wildlife. The Lower Loop adds a bit more distance, taking you along the Slate River and through scenic meadows. Embrace the laid-back atmosphere of Crested Butte and enjoy the beauty of this trail network right on the edge of town.

Bear Peak via Shadow Canyon

  • Boulder, CO 
  • Skill Level: Challenging
  • Distance: 8.2 miles round trip 

Embark on an invigorating hike to the summit of Bear Peak, one of Boulder’s iconic peaks. The trail follows Shadow Canyon, leading you through dense forests, rocky terrain, and wildflower-dotted meadows. Reach the top for breathtaking panoramic views of the Front Range and Boulder. Fish Creek Falls

  • Steamboat Springs, CO

  • Distance: 2.5 miles round trip 

Located just outside Steamboat Springs, Fish Creek Falls offers a picturesque hike to a stunning 280-foot waterfall. Maroon Bells Scenic Loop

  • Aspen, CO

Experience the quintessential Colorado beauty of the Maroon Bells (arguably the most photographed spot in the state!) with these two towering peaks reflected in a serene alpine lake. Green Mountain (Rooney Valley Trailhead)

Hanging Lake

Animas Mountain Trail

  • Durango, CO
  • Skill Level: Moderate 
  • Distance: 5.8 miles round trip 

Experience the beauty of Durango on the Animas Mountain Trail. Mt. Bierstadt

  • Idaho Springs, CO
  • Skill Level: Challenging 
  • Distance: 7.8 miles round trip 

For adventurous souls seeking a challenging ascent, Mt. Bierstadt offers an exhilarating hike. This iconic 14er (clocking in at 14,065 feet!) rewards hikers with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. As you climb steep switchbacks and scramble over rocky terrain, marvel at the vastness of the Colorado Rockies and celebrate your accomplishment at the summit.
