5 Women-Owned Non-Profits to Support This Year on Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday, celebrated annually on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, is a global movement inspiring generosity and positive change. While Black Friday and Cyber Monday focus on spending, Giving Tuesday shifts the conversation to giving back. This year, consider supporting women-owned non-profits working to empower individuals, foster community, and make a difference. Here are five inspiring organizations to support this Giving Tuesday:

1. The Cairn Project

Of course we had to include ourselves on this list. We transform outdoor adventure into tools for equity. TCP supports young women and gender-diverse individuals by funding scholarship programs through Summit Scholarship Foundation. In the TCP Trailblazer Program, participants use their outdoor challenges to raise funds for the get underserved youth outside. By donating to The Cairn Project, you’ll be contributing to a more inclusive outdoor space.

Girls on the Run is dedicated to empowering young girls through running-based programs that build confidence, resilience, and life skills. By blending physical activity with mentorship, the organization equips girls with tools to navigate life’s challenges and foster a love for fitness. Supporting Girls on the Run not only helps expand its programming but also provides scholarships for girls who might not otherwise afford to participate.
